Founded in 1974, East Adelaide Tiling Co. is a family-owned business specialising in heritage restorations, bathroom renovations, and commercial tiling. Brothers Joe and Dino Mannarino, trained by their father—a skilled Italian builder and tiler—have built a reputation for quality and reliability. With over 40 years of experience, they lead a team of 16+ professionals, many of whom have been with the company for over two decades. Known for their expertise in tessellated and heritage tiling, East Adelaide Tiling Co. has completed notable projects including the North Adelaide Church of Christ and the Mitchell Building at the University of Adelaide. The company is committed to delivering high-quality craftsmanship, clear communication, and timely project completion
Meet the Team
Joe Mannarino
Managing director
Joe has headed East Adelaide Tiling Company since its rebranding in 2001, and has trained several apprentices, many of whom continue to work with East Adelaide Tiling Company as employees or sub-contractors.
After spending decades completing work on domestic properties, Joe began to diversify his experience by also pursuing work with commercial properties.
Joe’s background in building has enabled him to both identify the greater building needs of a property in relation to tiling, as well as engaging reliable subcontractors to collaborate with East Adelaide Tiling Company on jobs such as bathroom renovations and restorations.
Joe continues to train apprentices and help supervise jobs that his employees undertake.

Dino Mannarino
General manager
Dino similarly has vast experience in the building and tiling industry, having begun work from an early age.
After decades of experience in tiling, Dino developed an interest in tiling…
production and began to manage a renowned tile distribution centre in Adelaide.
During this time, Dino expanded his understanding in the selection and quality of tiling materials, whilst fostering relationships with various tiling providers.
Dino rejoined his brother, Joe, at East Adelaide Tiling company as Manager, and brings with him a breadth of experience in both tiling workmanship and material selection.

Many of our team members have been with us for more than 20 years, a testament to the strong culture of loyalty and craftsmanship that defines our company.
We also maintain long-standing partnerships with trusted subcontractors—many of whom began their careers with us as apprentices. These relationships ensure we can scale effectively while maintaining the high standards our clients expect. Whether in-house or subcontracted, everyone representing East Adelaide Tiling Company is trained to deliver consistent, top-tier results across every project.
